oday I am sharing my latest computer-generated visualisation project: a Mid Century interior in a classic city apartment. Some of the furniture is vintage, some of it is new (but inspired on Mid Century design) and some of the pieces I designed myself, such as the dining table and the Sputnik Chandelier.
You can find items by Eames, Saarinen, George Nelson, Serge Mouille, Norman Cherner and Louis Poulsen. The newer pieces are by Meridiani, FlexForm, Moooi, Christopher Guy, FontanaArte, Diana von Furstenberg and MaxAlto.
THE CHALLENGE: test your design knowledge and let me know which piece is by which designer, good luck!

- lassic Modern Mix, don't you just love this combination? This mix of modern designer furniture in classic, light and old buildings? Imagine a room with white-washed wall panelling, high ceilings, a marble mantelpiece, an antique guilded mirror and so on. This room would look stuffy and boring with matching period…
- Mid Century sideboards are one of my things these days. Those high-quality sleek, minimal cupboards made of precious woods like walnut, rosewood or teak are not only aesthetic to the eye, but so handy and practical as well. Great for creating a vignette of your current favourite things, practical for storing…
Your work and creativity is amazing! Enjoyed all the photos! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks Helen!
Design challenge accepted!
My favorite Mooi pendant, Louis Poulsen floor lamp, Eames chairs plywood chairs, Saarinen chairs, Norman Chernan plywood side chair, max alto sideboard, Fontana arte chandelier and the serge mobile floor lamp. That’s all I got!
Congratulations Daniel, you almost scored 100%! Only the sideboard is by George Nelson, produced by Herman Miller and the Sputnik Chandelier is my own design, based on this vintage item I had seen on 1stDibs. The plexiglass coffeetable is by FontanaArte. Thanks for your participation, well done!
Stijlvol allemaal! well done
Dankjewel Mattijs!
