Organic ceramics was what I was thinking this morning. Over time I have seen lots of these demure beauties on the net. So I decided to make a small collection of them. What they have in common are the muted, desaturated natural colors. The odd and uneven shapes. The, often locally sourced, natural clay materials. But some of these ceramics are made of more luxurious materials such as dark marble or golden metals. Still, they exude this organic vibe.

Being a Wedgewood and Villeroy & Boch girl myself, I would love to branch out with these hand-made, fragile organic ceramics. I can totally see a summer table in the garden, set with lots of flowers, decked out with these plates and bowles carrying great organic, delicious foods.
