Mmonochrome interiors are a trend that has been going strong for a while now. As a 3D Artist I am using this style more and more for interior visualisations. Monochrome, or black and white, is so easy on the eye and a great base to add some splashes of color here and there. In the real world this applies too.

Tthe Panton Chair, also known as the S-chair, has been around since the 1960’s. It is a creation of the Danish multi-talent Vernon Panton. Panton is considered to be one of Denmark’s influential 20th Century furniture and interior designers. He worked mostly with plastics in bright and exotic colors.

Ooutdoor dining is one of my favourite things to do. And since it’s my birthday today, that is exactly what I will do! I love those long, boozy al fresco lunches or dinners, right in the middle of nature on a warm summer’s day. Lots of strings with lightbulbs in the trees, abundant candlelight on the table, add some flowers, throw in some pillows and you’re good to go.

Ggreen plants and flowers are great accents in any interior, wheather it’s sleek minimal, modern rustic or abundantly chic. Because we all love nature, don’t we? And with plants we bring some of that nature back into our homes. But there are so many plant species, which should we choose? Well, in general I prefer green-only plants, with interesting leaves, maybe mixed with a bit of off-white delicate flowers.

Aan outdoor fireplace is such a great thing for little pyromaniacs such as yours truly. I love building big fires, a thing I indulged in a lot when I was still living in South Africa. Although we did have central floorheating in the house, I preferred to wake up the house by building a fire first thing in the morning.
