Animal prints in interior design can be a tricky one. If done wrong, animal prints can make a room look tacky and kitsch. The trick is to use these prints sparingly. By giving that old antique armchair a new upholstery in an animal print, it will go from boring to a unique, eye-catching piece.

If you are not that brave, then just add a panther or giraffe print throw-pillow here and there. Or do an animal print on a small lampshade. 

To liven up a monochrome interior, adding a zebra print is something I do often in my designs. It adds some pattern and texture to minimalist interiors. But classic interiors will pop too with an accent chair upholstered in a cheetah print for example. And cow-hide carpets are great in loft-style interiors, paired with some Mid-Century furniture pieces.

When using animal prints, it does not mean you have to go Tribal all the way. Just keep it simple. I hope you will get inspired with these images below.
