came across the Watermark Collection this morning whilst browsing the net. And wow, did I find something special, I just had to share it right away. This Brooklyn company creates the most beautiful and unusual watertaps. The company was established in 1976 by Herman Abel. He had a passion for metal finishes and invented a secret formula that he applied to his watertaps.
Watermarks works with a melting pot of Brooklyn artisans and craftspeople that help create these unique statement products of brass, marble and soapstone. The inspiration for the designs are derived from typical Brooklyn architectural details and engineering structures.
These handmade taps are manufactured with care and attention in the little Brooklyn Watermark factory . This results in such a high standard that you will find the Watermark taps in buildings from the Trump Park Avenue in New York to the Ritz Carlton in Shanghai. But I can definitely see them in my own virtual dreamhome too!
