Ccopper Orange will be the trending color in 2015, according to the Global Aesthetic Center of paint manufacturer Akzo Nobel. This color was selected by a panel of independent design and color experts following in-depth research into worldwide trends. It symbolizes a positive outlook onto our world.

For the last 12 years, the Global Aesthetic Center has been researching the main color that will be trending each year. Last year the blue-green Teal color was a total hit (see my post here). This year it will be the more warmer Copper Orange. Now, I myself am not such a trendfollower in interiors, I tend to just let my eye fall on whatever is beautiful to me, but I thought this new trend would be informative anyway.

Copper Orange is a deep warm color that combines perfectly with pink, neutrals and whites.  And of course with the actual metal itself. The central idea of 2015 is that “people will discover new ways to give their lives more color, creating a caring community for us all”. This new color will influence fashion, architecture, interiors and lifestyle.  Just you wait and see!

Deze kleur werd geselecteerd door een panel van onafhankelijke ontwerpers en kleurexperts, na een uitgebreid onderzoek naar wereldwijde trends. Copper Orange symboliseert een positieve kijk op de wereld.

Gedurende de laatste 12 jaar heeft het Global Aesthetic Center research gedaan naar wat de trendkleur van ieder jaar zal zijn. Vorig jaar was het de koele groen-blauwe Teal kleur (zie mijn post hier). Dit jaar (2015) zal het de warmere Copper Orange kleur worden. Ik moet toegeven dat ikzelf niet zo’n trendvolger ben als we het over interieurs hebben. Ik laat mijn oog vooral vallen op designs en materialen die ik mooi vind. Maar ik wilde toch deze info even delen.

Copper Orange is een diepe, warme kleur. Het combineert perfect met zacht roze, neutrale kleuren en wit schakeringen. En samen met het echte materiaal, nl. koper,  is het natuurlijk helemaal perfect. Het centrale idee voor 2015 is dat “mensen nieuwe manieren zullen ontdekken om hun leven meer kleur te geven, op die manier zullen ze een zorgzamere samenleving creëren voor ons allemaal”. Deze kleur zal zeker van invloed zijn op de mode, architectuur, interieurs en lifestyle van 2015, wacht maar af!
