Macrame wallhangings have been all the rage now for a while. I see them all the time in the interiors of the young, cool and hip. Pinterest is filled with them. Isn’t it funny how some things from the past come back time and time again? But this time around it is macrame with a twist: same principle of knot-tying now done with different materials and colors. Huge macrame pieces used as a headboard for a king-size bed.

Or a macrame piece as a room-divider, smart and original. I love how these macrame wallhangings add texture to and interior. Here’s a small selection and a link to how to make one yourself, enjoy and good luck with your knot-tying skills.
