Green plants and flowers are great accents in any interior, wheather it’s sleek minimal, modern rustic or abundantly chic. Because we all love nature, don’t we? And with plants we bring some of that nature back into our homes. But there are so many plant species, which should we choose? Well, in general I prefer green-only plants, with interesting leaves, maybe mixed with a bit of off-white delicate flowers.
My favourite green color is actually the silvery gray/green of olive and lavender. But the bright green of for example the Fiddle Leaf Fig can be great too. And let’s not forget the succulents and cacti trend that is going on right now. Although generally a bit smaller, these little pricklies are actually quite sophisticated when grouped together.
A bunch of fragile blossoming Magnolia branches (“pruned” from the neighbour’s garden…) in an oversized glass vase is a real eye-catcher too. Or what about a few stems of Cows Parsley picked from your local park? Great texture added in an instant. Anyway, I hope you will get some inspiration from my collection here.
