FIFTY SHADES OF BRABBU

Have you heard of furniture company Brabbu Design Forces yet? You almost cannot have missed them, as they are everywhere lately. Open any interior magazine, European, American, Russian or Chinese and there will usually be some item by Brabbu listed in an editorial somewhere.

This Portuguese company is a “design brand that reflects an intense way of living, bringing fierceness, strength and power into an urban lifestyle“. Their handcrafted designs are certainly powerful, eyecatching and sometimes eccentric showpieces. Brabbu uses exclusive, natural materials such as beautiful marble, precious wood species such as walnut or palisander and the softest leathers. Rich velvets and patinated or brushed bronze give these glamorous pieces a real “one of a kind” feel. Add the unusual, fluid and sensual shapes and you get something really special.

And now some of Brabbu’s pieces are featured in Fifty Shades of Grey, the movie based on the controversial, erotic novel by British novelist E.L. James that sold 20 million copies in the first three(!) months. The story that will “obsess you, posess you and stay with you forever” is the perfect match for the sexy Brabbu designs.
