I have replicated wine rooms, European kitchens, cafe’s, bath’s from using just hand painted trompe loeil to actual life like textures or even both. To me these finishes never get dated and you can always add or take away simple by using color In my business recently I see and hear of more of it coming back full circle again into the art deco or Early American. I believe that home owners are tiring of the white and cold chrome features for homes and leaving the cold metal to the commercial designs. http://art-faux.com/mural-projects/wine-room-mural/
