Wood decor works for most interior styles. And with wood decor I mean the little things, such as cutting boards, serving trays, pretty toys, ethnic bowls and so on. The earthy characteristic of wood adds warmth and texture to an interior, and each piece is unique. Who wouldn’t like those supersized wooden cuttingboards with loads of French cheeses, nuts and grapes?

And they look good too when not in use and set against the backsplash of your kitchen counter. And how about a few hand-made African bowls to throw in your housekeys, wallet or other things that are always lost when you need them? The simplicity of a piece of tree trunk as a sidetable, well, I could go on and on. Enjoy the small selection below and let me know what your favourite wood decor is.
