Ddark bedrooms: according to my top-post Dark Decor we are all in the mood for a bit of darkness. Dark bedrooms may seem gloomy, but I think they’re very fitting for this season of dark days ahead of us. And don’t be afraid of the dark, total darkness is best for a good night’s sleep.

Darkness will boost your melatonin production (a great anti-oxidant decreasing glucose and blood-pressure). Dark bedrooms will also reduce your Cortisol level, a stress chemical which will make you gain weight (aaarghh) and causes sleeplessness. So ban the TV from your bedroom, and read a book before going to sleep. And don’t forget to put your phone on airplane-mode. Sleep well 🙂

Slaap lekker 🙂
